I had so much fun working with is bride to come up with something a little different. She wanted something contemporary and classy. Her bouquet consisted entirely of two different shades of red roses and the crystals. We ended up deciding to use the crystals as the center of the roses.

If you look closely you will see a penny and a four leaf clover in this preservation. In the bride's family it is a tradition that every bride carries a penny in her bouquet that was from her Grandmother.

These wedding flowers I recently finished are unique in that the bride wore a lei for their wedding. The groom was born and raised in Hawaii so they incorporated that theme into their wedding. I tried to "reproduce" the look of the white lei the bride wore in the middle. The green leaves and small white flowers were from the lei the groom wore. The magenta dendrobium orchids were from decorations at the reception and leis that were given to guests.

My sister-in-law wanted me to form her floral preservation as a continuation of the bouquet she and her husband were holding in one of their wedding photos. It was a lot of fun to design and turned out very unique. One of my favorites.

Here's some photos of recent preservations I've done for a bride. She wanted to group three smaller pictures of her preserved bouquet together.

Why preserve between 2 pieces of glass?

Many brides like to have their preservation done between two pieces of glass. This allows the color of your wall to show through and your preservation background never goes out of style. Here's a recent preservation I did for a bride that got married May 31st. Her beautiful bouquet contained roses in vibrant shades of fushia and pink, calla lilies, hydrangea and stephanotis.

A Preservation in memory of . . .

In addition to pressing wedding flowers, often times I preserve flowers from the funeral of a loved one. Recently I was able to put together something for a friend in memory of her Mother-In-Law. What is unique about this preservation is that she had me include the word "Grandma" (from Uppercase Living) on the glass and a photo of her kids with their grandmother.

An Upclose Look

This picture gives you an upclose view at what
some flowers look like before they are framed.

Wedding Flowers Pressed between Glass

This preservation was done for a bride that was married in October. Her bouquet included roses, gerbera daisies, calla lilies, hydrangea and miscellaneous greenery.

Backgrounds Make a Difference

This preservation really stands out on the cranberry background. The orchid buds add a lot of personality to the mostly neutral bouquet of roses and greenery.

The periwinkle background this bride chose beautifully displays the gerbera daisies and roses in pink and white.

Invitation Included

A bride married in September had a special bouquet for her reception that included vibrant colors of azalea and orange. Her preservation is unique because she included her invitation and I was able to add some of the bamboo from her bouquet to give the picture some fun texture.

Rhinestones Added

This bride was married in September. She had a beautiful bouquet that included some small rhinestones. I was able to include those in her preservation to add just the right amount of "bling" to her picture.
